Professional pathway certification is externally CPD-accredited. Your credential is recognised outside of Champion Pride and is a legitimate professional qualification.
The Restart pathway is appropriate for riders from beginner-intermediate level, provided they have consistent access to a horse. The Recode and Professional pathways assume an existing ridden competency. If you are unsure which applies to you, email us before enrolling.
You submit a 3-minute unedited video through the platform at each module gate. Our proprietary AI vision model assesses your submission against the five structural integrity metrics for that stage — wither carriage, eye state, lip state, hind leg tracking, and pelvic response. If the metrics are met, the next module unlocks. If not, you receive specific feedback on what needs to change. There is no self-reporting. The video is the evidence.
BHS and Pony Club qualifications assess practical riding competency and horse care knowledge against a fixed standard. The Sovereign Academy assesses the neurological outcome — specifically, whether the horse’s CNS is being correctly recruited for performance. These are not competing qualifications. Many students hold BHS credentials and take the Sovereign Academy to understand the science beneath the standard.
Module 1 (The 5-Gate Pre-Flight Check) can be studied without immediate horse access. Modules 2 onwards require consistent access to a horse — ideally one that is your own or in your regular care, as the AI assessment requires submitted footage across multiple weeks.
The Sovereign System is species-specific, not breed-specific. The neurological methodology applies equally to thoroughbreds, warmbloods, cobs, ponies, and every type in between. The 12-week timeline is calibrated for neuroplasticity, not conformation — though the manual addresses how conformation variables affect progression.
The first 20 students enroll at the founding member price. Once those 20 places are filled, or after 17 July 2026 — whichever comes first — all pathway prices increase to their full rate. The price difference is real and reflects the launch phase, not a promotional gimmick. Early enrolment also gives access to the Week 12 Transformation Reveal case study content as it is produced.
If you have not accessed any module content beyond Module 1, a full refund is available within 7 days of enrolment. Once module content beyond Module 1 has been accessed, no refund is issued. This mirrors the policy of comparable accredited certificate programmes including Purdue University’s ESI certificate.
The Professional certification carries three commercial benefits: (1) External CPD accreditation as a credential on your profile and website. (2) Listing in the Champion Pride Certified Sovereign Operator directory — the only publicly searchable register of practitioners trained in this methodology. (3) The licensing pathway, which allows you to advertise your Sovereign System affiliation annually, associating your business with the brand’s methodology and media presence as the academy grows.
