THE FOUNDER
From Guesswork to Metrics
A system built from first principles.
Not tradition. Not opinion. Not force.
The Problem
Equestrian sports have operated on subjective “feel” and tradition for centuries.
When I entered the sport, I mastered the BHS baselines—but when it came to the nuanced retraining of my Thoroughbred, Pop, traditional advice fell flat.
I was told to use sharper bits, stronger aids, and simply “push him through it.”
I refused to treat a software problem with a hardware solution.
The Shift to Science
I realized that to achieve elite performance without compromising welfare, I needed to understand the horse’s nervous system.
I became certified under Equitation Science International (ESI)—moving away from subjective opinion and into objective biology.
I learned how to identify the Alpha State (parasympathetic dominance), decode equine kinematics, and apply Learning Theory without force.
The Mission
I built Champion Pride and The Sovereign System to give modern, forward-thinking riders the exact framework I spent years searching for.
We are the New Guard.
We operate on metrics, empathy, and absolute structural integrity.
We don’t guess.
We measure.
