For riders ready to upgrade an existing horse’s performance output.
You have a willing horse, but you are hitting a performance ceiling. You are losing points in the dressage arena to tension, bleeding seconds on the cross-country course, or struggling to maintain connection during the chaos of a polo chukka.
Performance is our high-performance tier. It takes the foundational Alpha State built in Ex-Racehorse Retraining and applies it to competitive equestrian sport. This course shifts the focus to you—the Precision Operator—teaching you how to navigate your horse using physics and gravity rather than physical force.

Description

Performance is designed for riders who already have a willing, capable horse—but are now facing a performance ceiling.

The horse is trying. The effort is there. Yet the results plateau when precision matters most.

You may notice it in different ways: lost marks in dressage due to tension, wasted seconds on cross-country from resistance or hesitation, or a breakdown of connection during high-pressure environments like polo chukkas or fast competitive phases.

At this level, the issue is no longer about effort or obedience.

It is about performance architecture.

Performance is a high-performance system that takes the foundational Alpha State developed in Ex-Racehorse Retraining and applies it directly to competitive equestrian sport. It shifts the rider’s role entirely—from someone applying aids to someone operating as a Precision Operator, navigating the horse through balance, timing, gravity, and biomechanics rather than physical force.

The goal is simple: remove interference, restore fluidity, and build athletic clarity under pressure.

What You Get Inside Performance

Full Access to Ex-Racehorse Retraining

You receive complete access to the 12-week groundwork and neurochemical reset system that establishes softness, regulation, and a stable Alpha State foundation. This ensures your horse is neurologically prepared for higher-level performance work.

Sovereign Navigation & The Liquid Dish

Learn a completely different way of riding—where steering, halting, and transitions are created through pelvic alignment, breath control, and weight distribution rather than pulling or driving.

You stop forcing movement and instead learn how to tip, guide, and redirect balance.

This is the foundation of fluid, low-resistance communication at speed.

Tactical Manoeuvres

Develop precision execution of advanced movements under zero unnecessary tension, including:

  • The Sovereign Rollback
  • The Mid-Air Swap (Flying Lead Change)
  • High-speed directional transitions
  • Clean recovery from imbalance at pace

Each manoeuvre is taught through biomechanics and timing, ensuring the horse remains connected even under athletic demand.

Rider Biomechanics Audit

Identify and remove the subtle rider habits that block performance without you realising it.

This includes patterns such as:

  • The “Survival Clamp” (over-bracing and rigidity under pressure)
  • “Electrical Static” (inconsistent energy and timing signals)

By clearing these interference patterns, you restore freedom of movement and responsiveness in the horse.

Competition Day Management

Learn how to maintain softness, clarity, and connection in chaotic competitive environments.

You will be trained in:

  • The Bandwidth Sharing System
  • The Static Anchor
  • Warm-up arena regulation strategies
  • Pressure management under environmental stress

The focus is not control—it is maintaining communication under intensity.

Video Assessment

Submit short, unedited videos at each module gate. A qualified coach reviews every submission and returns structured written feedback before you progress. Fully online: a written assessment plus human-assessed video submissions.

Your feedback will break down:

  • Timing and coordination errors
  • Balance disruptions
  • Rider-induced tension
  • Communication breakdowns
  • Opportunities for refinement

This creates a continuous performance loop of correction, awareness, and improvement.

The Outcome

Performance is not about making your horse work harder.

It is about removing everything that is making performance heavier than it should be.

When applied correctly, the horse becomes lighter, more responsive, and more available—even at speed and under pressure—because the system between horse and rider is finally aligned.

You stop fighting physics.
You start working with it.
